Our History
Dr. N. E. Roberts Elementary School opened in August 2002. Our school is named after Dr. Neriah E. Roberts Jr., a Lakeland native and amazing educator in Polk County Public Schools. Dr. Roberts served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent, area assistant superintendent, and deputy superintendent during his 38 years in education. Dr. Roberts was committed to education, our community, and his family.
